Responsibilities

  • This position requires the understanding of the procurement system to include purchasing and managing inventory, record keeping, contract negotiations, and the assessment of financial performance of products.
  • This position is responsible for ensuring competition on all procurements, and if competition is unavailable, must be able to provide adequate justification as to why competition is not possible.
  • Additionally, the Procurement Lead is responsible for ensuring that all purchases are the best value and that prices are fair and reasonable.

Job Requirements

  • At a minimum, four (6) years of procurement experience, (2) years in a supervisory position preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience shall include property and supply procurement functions.
