Assistant and Associate/Full Professor in Psychology
The University of Texas at San Antonio

As a diverse, Hispanic Serving Institution with over half of its student population being first generation college students, the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) has embarked on a focused connected hiring plan in the topic of clinical psychology, with an emphasis on empirically assessment and treatment. This connected hiring plan includes three assistant professors positions, one open rank-assistant, associate, or full professor, and one Director of Clinical Training(DCT).

UTSA is committed to hiring multiple positions over the next several years as part of a cluster hire to support the development of the collaborative doctoral program in clinical psychology and fulfill the missions of all programs within the Department of Psychology.

As part of a larger cluster hire, outstanding candidates at the Assistant Professor level are invited to apply for three positions to support the existing MS and PhD Experimental Psychology programs, while also bridging or buttressing a new PhD program in Clinical Psychology under initial phases of development. Preference will be given to hiring (1) a social psychologist with quantitative expertise in health, measurement, and social cognition; (2) a physiological/biopsychology/neuroscience psychologist with preference for expertise in psychological health, cognitive, quantitative, or computational neuroscience; and (3) an industrial or organizational psychologist. As part of a broader cluster hire, outstanding senior candidates are invited to apply for an Associate/Full Professor position in Clinical Psychology who will serve as the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) for the development of a PhD program in Clinical Psychology.
