As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American Samoa or other territory owning permanent allegiance to the United States.

The Contract Manager at Cherokee Nation Integrated Health will be responsible for overseeing and managing contracts with a specific focus on the Department of Defense and Medical services. This role involves the development, management, and staffing of geographically dispersed projects, ensuring the successful delivery of personnel services related to the medical field. The incumbent will work closely with diverse teams to ensure contract compliance, performance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Pay commensurate with experience.

Contract Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and manage contracts in the Department of Defense and Medical sectors.
  • Oversee the geographically dispersed delivery of personnel services, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Staff and manage teams to meet project objectives and deliverables.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to ensure successful contract execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant policies, regulations, and standards in the healthcare and defense industries.
  • Facilitate communication between different project teams and departments to promote synergy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on contract status, financials, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Contract Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Seven years of relevant experience in developing, managing, staffing, and overseeing geographically dispersed delivery of personnel services in the medical field.
  • Experience with contracts of a minimum dollar value greater than $5 million to $20+ million per year.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical operations.
  • Military medicine background is strongly desired; USMEPCOM experience is a plus.
  • A master's level degree from an accredited academic institution in one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Business Management, Health Administration, Science and Health Administration, Nursing, or Medical Service Management is preferred. A bachelor's degree is required.
  • PMP (or) Certification in Contract Management or related field.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense contracting processes and regulations.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage large-scale contracts in the healthcare or defense sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
