Primary Function

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of employees of the Transportation Services program for a specified office. They report to the Site Manager, ensuring all aspects of administration, technical, operational, and contractual requirements and client expectations are met. This position is responsible for establishing workflows, policies and procedures, fiscal accountability, and performing duties in accordance with their job description.

All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Acuity International is recognized. Responsibilities

  • Ensures contractual compliance with ICE/ERO policies and procedures.

  • Ensures safeguarding of sensitive information.

  • Monitors, tracks, and ensures site establishes internal, site-specific operation implementation instructions to meet contractual requirements.

  • Provides reporting on employee training, time, and attendance, on the job training, and 1:1 supervision with staff.

  • Conducts daily internal meetings to ensure open communication, dissemination of information, review significant activities, and address any issues or concerns.

  • Conducts ongoing quality assurance to ensure compliance with all ICE/ERO policies and procedures, including identifying areas in need of improvement.

  • Ensures operational plans adhere to the highest relevant safety standards, are planned and communicated in advance and are professionally implemented.

  • Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage.

  • Enforce all workplace policies and procedures.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to staff on job performance utilizing performance measures and metrics.

  • Supports procurement functions and maintains all aspects of purchasing and delivery of items.

  • Supports Site Manager with identifying staffing and resource requirements.

  • Responsible for routine administrative tasks such as disabling accounts for departed employees.

  • Ensure new employee training and refresher training on all systems.

  • Provide simple technical support questions for their location such as how to use the web-based system.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or more than four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree);

  • Have at least two years or more of documented experience in a field related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or similar occupational area; and ( a minimum of four years of experience is required when an associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience is substituted for a bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience in a related field when four years of experience is substituted for a degree);

  • Demonstrate experience applicable to the goals and objectives of this requirement and appropriate for a similar program environment.

  • Clean criminal background check, a favorable credit check, and no prior drug use.

  • Psychological, honesty/integrity validation pre-employment screening and annual re-screening.

  • Must be able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.

  • Must be proficient with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office suite.

  • Meet the requirements of the contract for all immunizations.

  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Must be Bilingual and proficient in English (Speak, Read, Write).

  • Must be able to work full time hours, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be a US citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years' supervisory experience

  • ORR or ICE experience

  • CPR/First Aid certification

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment.
