The UTSA Department of Integrative Biology invites applications for the position of a Fixed-Term Track (FTT) Assistant Professor of Instruction of Biology or Environmental Science, beginning Fall 2024.

The Department of Integrative Biology is looking for qualified candidates with expertise in general biology, anatomy and physiology, cology, evolution, and environmental science.

Salary Range: Starting at $50,000 for nine-months (Fall and Spring semesters).



Fixed-Term Track (FTT) faculty at UTSA are generally hired through renewable contracts. The primary contract would be for 9-months, with additional summer appointments (for teaching or administrative service) possible.

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Working Conditions
