Company Description

Initiates purchase requisitions for needed materials and supplies and forwards to supervisor. Maintains inventory control and performs inventories. Receives shipments of goods and checks bills of lading against purchase orders. Issue clothes to center trainees. Closes and forwards purchase orders to appropriate department. Performs center duties as required. Serves as a positive role model for trainees by enforcing appropriate behavior and maintaining a helpful, friendly, responsible and concerned attitude toward them. Maintain good housekeeping in work area and complies with safety practices. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Description
  • Receive shipment of goods
  • Checks for validity of goods
  • Checks for validity against purchase orders
  • Checks for accuracy against bill of lading
  • Handles outgoing UPS shipments
  • In absence of Property Specialist, closes P.O.'s in SBT and submits closed P.O.'s to Finance Department.
  • Student property is shipped or destroyed according to SOP
  • Receive orders
  • Issue supplies
  • Take physical inventories
  • Request clothing purchases
  • Coordinate fitting sessions
  • Maintains clothing inventory at a level of 2.0 months or less
  • Request inventory purchases

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

An individual must be able to perform the functions of planning, implementing, and evaluation of programs. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, effective organization skills, and effective interpersonal skills. Requires ability to oversee multiple tasks, make sound decisions under pressure, plan ahead and communicate effectively. Requires the ability to analyze data and write reports. Education:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
