JOB PURPOSE:

Ensure the services provided to Veterans are timely, complete, documented, and carried out according to related contracts and policies & procedures.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining records of journal entries, accounts, and reconciliation of grant accounts

  • Applying accounting skills to include financial records of balancing, journal entries, and operational costs

  • Auditing client records within Salesforce and comparing them against HMIS systems

  • Build Excel reports for accounting purposes and data tracking

  • Maintaining and building auditing reports within Salesforce software

  • Running regular balancing reports between Sage and Salesforce of grants bi-monthly

  • Processes financial requests for Veterans within the guidelines of grants

  • Auditing of grant requirements against client files to ensure compliance measures

  • Build financial logs to ensure budgets stay within grant limitations

  • Learning multiple grants and grant functions

  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school Diploma or Bachelor's preferred

EXPERIENCE: Proficient in Microsoft Office (preferred), 2 years+ (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Salesforce (preferred), HMIS (preferred), 1+ year bookkeeping, and accounting background (preferred).

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
