Language Analyst

Key Role:

Provide support to a military client as a multi-discipline language analyst, conduct primary and secondary research, andanalyze and evaluate raw intelligence to develop tactically and strategically-focusedfinished intelligence products. Apply critical thinking and pattern recognition expertise to recognize, assess, and tip threats, and identify international criminal organizationtrends and activities to answer senior-level consumer intelligence questions, including determining applicable analytic methodology, and recommending the most effective format for finished intelligence products. Participate in, develop, and deliver briefings and intelligence discussions, and serve as a regional, threat-specific subject matter expert in a variety of settings and formats. Support operationally deployed forces with mission specific products, including maintaining and managing daily intelligence production requirements, and remaining capable to surge to meet contingency requirements. Interpret upper-level French or Haitian Creole, both written and spoken, into concise, jargon-free English for inclusion in several intelligence reporting formats. Identify intelligence gaps and guide counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) tasking to support development of comprehensive network discovery products. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience as a language analyst
  • 3+ years of experience with analytic modernization tools and databases
  • Experience writing to senior-level and tactical-level clients
  • Ability to show a score of score of 2+/2+ on the DLPT in the French or Haitian Creole language
  • Ability to interpret upper-level graphical French or Haitian Creole into concise jargon-free English for inclusion in intelligence reports and products
  • Ability to work irregular hours
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of SIGINT, OSINT, and HUMINT databases, including tools for analysis and target development
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior-level military multi-discipline language analysts

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
