Title: Tax Analyst

Rate: $29-$30

Location: San Antonio, TX 78258

Duration: 12 months

Analyze, review and validate moderate to complex tax data (W9 and W8-BEN, W8-BEN-E, W8-IMY, W8-EXP and W8-ECI)

• Accurately process data for customer's tax profiles on various client systems including account level systems
• Verify that modifications in data are fed to various systems
• Update tracking mechanisms to ensure data capture
• Learn and use multiple, complex databases and systems in a relatively short timeframe
• Perform User Acceptance Testing in systems as needed
• Strong client focus and relationship-building skills across lines of business and levels
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in high-pressure environment
• Ability to make independent 'client-centric' and judgment decisions
• Recognize and appropriately escalate issues and discrepancies
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Heavy based on data analyst
  • Excel - Intermediate (V lookups, functions)
  • Strong attention to detail (Will be mapping candidates into system)
  • Will have to create/perform mapping functionality (as a group)
  • Working on W8/W9 tax forms that are coming from Bank clients
  • Prior experience with these forms is a plus
  • Will be doing mail merge
