Salary Range: $3,500 per course.

Hours: This position will teach a minimum of one course each term, summer, fall and spring.

Essential Functions

This position is required to meet current capacity needs in the Counseling program, the practicum experiences, and the doctoral program for summer, fall and spring.

Position will teach UG, Graduate and/or Doctoral courses, depending on departmental needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Counseling Education.
  • CACREP accredited program preferred.
  • Experience teaching graduate counseling courses.
  • Have a counseling identity.
  • Teaching experience in school counseling, or clinical mental health.

Working Conditions
  • Work modality will be dependent on class assignments and department need.

This position will require working both remotely in Texas and UTSA downtown campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
