Role description:
As the Fractional Manufacturing Company CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the company on a part-time or interim basis. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing finance, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide strategic guidance to drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Evaluate and recommend investments, capital expenditures, and financing options to optimize financial performance.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the company's financial health and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

3. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Establish internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

4. Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow and working capital to support ongoing operations and growth initiatives.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow, including inventory management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

5. Financial Operations:
- Oversee accounting functions, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial closing processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

6. Strategic Decision Support:
- Collaborate with the executive team to evaluate strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and new product launches.
- Provide financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making and resource allocation.

7. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries and reporting.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including cost accounting, inventory management, and supply chain finance.
-Strong Understanding of GAAP Accounting
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
