OVERVIEW

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for total quality control inspection of all inbound shipments, issuance of all components for assembly to the line including unboxing the components to ensure speed and execution of the assembly process, and properly packing and shipping of outbound goods for final delivery to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure total quality control inspection of all inbound shipments to ensure all parts are conforming to Xenex requirements. Ensure part numbers on material match the Bill of Materials as well as inspect boards for discrepancies

  • Issue all components to the line for final assembly using pick tickets and direction from production and material managers

  • Unbox all components out of original packaging so line can focus on production and customer repair

  • Put away all components into the pick location and rotate stock to ensure First in / First Out.

  • Coordinate with production floor on build quantities, order of assembly, and pull stock accordingly

  • Update spreadsheets to ensure shipment fulfillment accuracy

  • Ship all requested components and units to customers while following proper regulations for shipping specific materials, and with proper lead times to ensure on time delivery.

  • Transact correctly in Salesforce actions taken to ensure orders are closed and updated in a timely manner on a daily basis

  • Coordinate the return of devices in a timely manner with the Account Management team.

  • Leverage FedEx, Crane Worldwide, Salesforce, Netsuite and any other programs used by the Supply Chain team.

  • Process devices and component returns to correct locations within the warehouse and systems/programs.

  • Deliver all office packages to the department or to a person specified on the shipping label.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent level of experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with software systems such as FedEx/UPS, CRM and ERP systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Able to lift 20+ lbs
  • Excellent organization and supervisory skills
