The Role

Our Enterprise process, Human capital management group is looking for a Workday Consultant to join our journey. We're looking for someone who has solid understanding of Workday (Workday Time Tracking Certification, OR Workday Absence Certification).

We're looking for Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consultant, this means creating high-quality client deliverables and taking ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; developing an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and participating in PeopleCare initiatives and exhibiting personal leadership at all times. Responsibilities

  • Exercise responsibility for one or more components of a consulting engagement
  • Support or drive data-driven identification and analysis of solution requirement
  • Conduct workshops with clients to elicit requirements as the basis for creating business requirements documents and user stories
  • Monitor solution quality compliance to standards and conduct or facilitate structured solution walkthroughs
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and issue tracking / resolution
  • Support solution change or enhancement requests
  • Prepare and deliver solution training workshops and collateral for clients
  • Perform other project tasks as needed, such as competitive research, storyline development, and report preparation (e.g., acceptance, QA).
  • These associates develop a profound understanding of the Cognizant way, productive project collaboration skills and practice deliverables, collegial support and information-sharing practices, and exquisite client sensibilities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within Workday
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business or technical discipline; work-in-progress on a Masters or MBA
  • Broad understanding of core business processes, technology challenges, and technical/business solutions associated with an industry
  • Certifications in Workday Time Tracking OR Workday Absence
  • Experience implementing Workday Time Tracking and Absence configurations for customers of all sizes, of increasing complexity levels
  • Experience in gathering requirements, design, prototype, and testing of Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions according to customer requirements
  • Knowledge in Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Entry Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Business Processes, Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously for the client, for Cognizant
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust
  • Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives customer expectations
