The Opportunity

We're looking for a Technology Infrastructure Administrator who can leverage their network, systems, and cloud infrastructure skills to provide a rock-solid technology infrastructure foundation for Ulteig's rapidly expanding workforce.

As a Technology Infrastructure Administrator with Ulteig, you'll collaborate with others on the infrastructure team to ensure the availability, security, and efficient operation of Ulteig's enterprise technology infrastructure. You will focus on network and security systems to support Ulteig's business operations, while also being able to deep dive into other areas of technology infrastructure and take on multi-faceted projects.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in infrastructure and systems and recommend solutions
  • Install and upgrade network hardware and software, including Cisco LAN switches, Meraki wireless access points, Cisco WAN routers, and Cisco physical and virtual firewalls
  • Create, maintain, and manage Microsoft Azure networking resources
  • Maintain compliance with information security standards, including auditing firewall rules, evaluating and resolving network device vulnerabilities, and managing network device configurations
  • Ensure peak performance of network infrastructure, recommending and implementing required changes to hardware, software, and network circuits as needed
  • Monitor, maintain, and update security solutions such as Cisco Identity Services Engine, Cisco Umbrella, and Microsoft Network Policy Server
  • Resolve advanced network-related or security-related issues escalated from the IT Support team as needed
  • Administer and maintain network monitoring tools such as Plixer Scrutinizer, Paessler PRTG, Gluware Network Automation, and Solarwinds Network Configuration Manager
  • Create and update network and infrastructure documentation
  • Triage and resolve infrastructure alerts and issues on an as-needed basis outside of business hours
  • Take on tasks and projects in other infrastructure areas as needed, including system administration, endpoint administration, collaboration technology, and DevOps

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience in networking, IT infrastructure, and/or system administration
  • Network or IT certifications like Cisco Certified Network Associate a plus
  • Microsoft Azure or cloud infrastructure certifications a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including TCP/IP Networking, DNS, Public Key Cryptography Certificates, Routing, VPN Technologies, Identity and Access Management, network security controls, and cloud networking principals
  • Demonstrated experience managing an enterprise network, including infrastructure lifecycle, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.
  • Good analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to travel
  • A valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Authorization to work permanently in the US

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $103,000
* The salary displayed represents the middle of a range. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
